A bit of a ladies’ man, Malcolm makes sure he’s always looking fresh and working hard. He’s a lovable guy who will always make you laugh but also can’t get tired of being out on the trail. While he loves to run, he also loves the ladies, and it can be an effort to keep him focused. Malcolm is great with people and thoroughly enjoys some good scratches and snuggles.

Brother to Malcolm, Nelson is a sweet boy who wants nothing more than a good scratch on the head. Nelson has an endearing smile, gregarious personality, and is always down to show the team a good time. Nelson is a hard worker too, and a valued team member here at Trail Breaker Kennel. When he’s not busy in the harness, he charms our guests and human team members.

Teak is an excitable guy who loves to pull. And he’s a cutie to boot! Teak has had some good race experience, and is now enjoying shorter miles and slower paces being a very charming and valuable member of our tour team. As much as Teak loves to run, he’s starting to shift focus and would enjoy his own human(s) and a couch to call his own so we’re open to the potential of him finding his new forever home if the right fit shows up.

Phelps, named after Michael Phelps, was born during the summer of the 2016 olympics. Now at 8 years old he has striking good looks. He is compact, fluffy and has a friendly attitude. Phelps would make a great companion for anyone looking for an adventure buddy. He has the potential to be a great skijor or bikejor dog. He is a good listener and generally aims to please. He loves to be on the move but as a slightly more mature husky moving doesn’t need to mean a 20 mile run anymore.
