FARMER

Birthday: November 13, 2020
Parents: Chiska & Slim

As one of the older members of our race team, Farmer possess a lot of talent. This guy not only has a ton of personality, but he’s also quickly turned into an eager and attentive leader on the trail. He has done really well in his first few seasons of training and racing and we are glad to have him as a mentor for the younger members of the race team.

LADY

Birthday: April, 2021
Parents: Linus (Kaiser) & Koya (Robinson)

Lady is by far the cuddliest & the sweetest dog that we have at TBK. As the mother of our two most recent litters, Lady gets a LOT of attention from our mushers & everyone who comes to meet her! It is often hard to harness Lady because she just wants belly rubs! She is doing a great job as a mentor to her pups and is a great lead dog. We are excited to see what Lady will do in the next season while mentoring her youngest puppies!

WOOKIE

Birthday: May 5, 2018
Parents: Shenzi & Wizard

Speedy, quick, and determined, Wookie puts his heart into every run. He is an all-business type guy, always ready to see just how far he can go. He and his brother Havak are total studs (just look at them!), and they’re ready to work as a team this upcoming season!

ALLEN WRENCH

Birthday: May 29, 2023

Allen has bottomless energy, he somehow has more enthusiasm for running around and rough housing than the one year old dogs. Has Allen discovered a fountain of youth or figured out how to run the Keurig? Despite being a chaos monster Allen is able to channel his frenetic energy while in a team. He never tires, he is always go.

ACE

Birthday: May 29, 2023

Ace aims to please, this guy is a ham and loves entertaining guests with his bouncy antics and signature smile. If dogs could be theater kids Ace would be the leader of the pack. He thrives with the spotlight firmly placed on him. He’s on the sensitive side and takes refuge between our legs when his sister Dollie tries to rough house with him before a run. Sisters can be such brutes!

Jack is the jock of his litter, all American, blonde, handsome. His long flowing locks suggest hockey when he’s not running cross country. He’s a high energy boy who does not like to be benched.

A tiny flying cavorting ball of fur and energy. Dollie thinks she is the star of the show. This diminutive diva will not be ignored or denied.

Lydia is the most diminutive of her siblings and she is a fire cracker. She is attentive and loves to be near her people. She is a great loose companion while doing chores around the kennel, always staying in eyesight and offering her indispensable assistance. She is showing a lot of promise in becoming a good little leader and loves taking charge during summer time Riverboat Discovery shows.

LIZZIE

Lizzie is a strikingly good looking girl with a cool head. She is calm and focused in the team. She’s bit more aloof than some of her sisters while playing in the yard but she’s very focused on the people in her circle. She’s been trying her paw in lead this summer and she thinks she might be ready for leading some longer runs this fall. True to her name sake, she’s calm and collected while her smaller sisters are out running amok.

MRS. BENNET

Mrs Bennet is more timid than her siblings, but once she warms up she is overflowing with affection. She’s the spitting image of her mother and it can at times be hard to tell them apart. She’s on the reserved side while hooking the team but loves to go once the team is on the move.

MR. DARCY

Mr. Darcy can be aloof and has his own way of doing things. He is not as flashy in his appearance as his gentleman brothers but has a a certain posed demeanor and a jaunty little flop to his otherwise pointy ears. He embraces pulling with enthusiasm and got to try his paw in leading the team a few times this past season.

MR. BINGLEY

Mr Bingley might be half horse, he is the tallest, leggiest dog in the yard and moves with a unique pizazz all his own. This guy is all positive vibes and smiles, only showing frustration when there is no one who wants to play with him. He is going to be a force to be reckoned with once he fills out his teenager frame. This guy is going to be strong!

MR. COLLINS

Mr. Collins is a true goof ball- he has been making frequent appearances at the Chena Village during the 2025 summer and entertaining guests with his exuberance- this boy is not shy! He has an unparalleled love of dinner that earned him the nickname Col. Sanders as a puppy. He has out grown his roly-poly puppy physique but not his love of kibble. The whole yard (neighborhood?) knows when he is impatiently waiting his turn in the dinner line.

COL. FITZWILLIAM

Fitz is generally good natured and gets along with everyone. He’s not the first puppy to attack your shoe laces when you get into the pen but he’s always down to go on a puppy adventure and is growing and gaining confidence everyday.

SKEDADDLE

Meet Skedaddle! This lady is confident, strong and curious and will happily lead her siblings on adventures down the trail. While she loves adventure, Skedaddle also loves cuddles from her humans any time she can get them. In her first winter season, Skedaddle did great in the harness and even got to try leading the team a few times! This little firecracker does not hesitate to run the show.

Ted is without a doubt the most reserved and quiet of his litter. Although he might not be the bravest puppy, he has been exploring new places this past winter and he is becoming more confident with every adventure. Ted is a long-legged boy, and his ears flop back and forth every time he sprints through the woods. We are excited to see what Ted accomplishes in his first few seasons on the race team!

MR. WICKHAM

Tall and handome, this boy loves people and loves to run. He is solidly in his teenage “I am HUGE and I don’t know it yet” year. He’s grown like a string bean. Even though he might not realize his size, he has shown himself to be a good leader. He debuted himself as a lead dog while on our 2025 Arctic trip and has been showing off his leading prowess during river boat show this summer.

Skipper is a sweet and gentle young man. On every walk he sticks right next to our side, and then when his littermates do exciting things, he sprints up to be with them. As a puppy, he learned how to twirl, sit, and jump and loves showing his skills to all who will watch. He was on our puppy team during the 25/26 season and quickly learned exactly what it means to be a sled dog.

TIP TOE

Aptly named for the white toes and feet on his black legs, Tip Toe was the first puppy to be named in his litter. Tiptoe doesn’t mind being bossed around by his sisters, but he also isn’t afraid to snap back at them when they are being too much. In his first season, Tip Toe showed us that he’s got what it takes to be a sled dog (he even tried leading) and he was lucky to get to round off the season with a trip to the Brooks Range in April!

SCUTTLE

Scuttle is full of spunk and excitement for everything she does! She loves to boss her siblings around, and she is not afraid to play rough. She has seemingly endless energy and frequently outruns all of her littermates when on free walks. Scuttle plays hard, but she is also no stranger to chilling out inside her dog house at the end of a long, hard day of playtime. Scuttle had a great first winter running in the team and we are excited for her to be part of the race team!

With her pointy ears and skunk-like face, Scooch was immediately a favorite puppy of her litter. She is very independent and will always run off to find new puddles or to show her siblings the new toy she found. Even though she runs off into the woods on her off-leash puppy walks with her siblings, she always comes back for kibble from her humans.
